This was the first year I started working for myself and I decided to take a month long vacation from my office!
As someone else’s employee the previous year, I didn’t even take a vacation THE ENTIRE YEAR! I was a legit slave to my absolutely exhausting, underpaying, stressful job that made me feel so unfulfilled.
I was absolutely not living as my highest self because I accepted a life that was less than ABUNDANT. I was totally detached from WHO I was as a person, and HOW I wanted to show up in the world. I definitely can say I lost my identity trying to keep up with the demands of external forces!
The GAME CHANGER was when I decided to give myself permission to hope, dream and desire a life on my terms.
I took my pen and notebook out, and literally told myself, “YES – You have the ability to have ANY lifestyle you choose. So, what would make you truly happy, filled with passion, and ultimate feel purposeful?”.
I challenged myself to quiet my perfectionist wanting to be a “good girl” and do everything right, silence my inner mean girl reminding me of my fears, and block all the what ifs and don’t know hows!
By doing that, I was so surprised by the desires of my most authentic self. I was scared of the BIG goals that came up because they were never something I thought about before, or even knew how to accomplish.
BUT, that’s the true power of tapping into your highest self. She showed me my true limitless potential and absolute worth to THRIVE! And how to create my most abundant legacy of womanhood on my terms.
Within THREE YEARS, I accomplished EVERYTHING that I wrote down that night, and so much more!
